Upon popular demand this workshop was created for youth ages 10 and up who are interested in learning the art of mosaic making. Students will learn how to create the design for mosaic, how to lay out the tiles and shape them to fit the image, and how to grout the final piece. An introduction to the mosaic techniques will be given during the first class. Vitreous glass tiles will be used as a main material, stained glass tiles can be used upon approval of parent. Choice 1: Wall Piece
$135 tuition, plus $38 project fee (for 12"x12" piece). Total: $173
Choice 2: Mirror
$135 tuition, plus $55 project fee for 16"x16" piece (with 8"x8" mirror in the middle). Total: $190

Refund Policy:
Full refund, minus $30 cancellation fee if workshop is dropped by June 1st. No refunds after that date. In case the workshop is cancelled by Mosaic Sphere Studio, full refund will be given providing that we either have your correct contact information or you can stop by the studio.
Attendance Policy:
Due to the amount of the material presented and the fact that mosaics take time to make, it is important that the student shows up on time and attends every class.
Liability Waver:
A liability waver must be signed by students (regardless of age) and co-signed by parents/responsible adults. This is to ensure that everyone is aware of safety precautions that one must take while attending a mosaic making class.
