Mosaic Gallery: Portraits

These are the most complicated pieces to make. Portraits require knowledge of human anatomy, color and tone matching, and handling of glass media.

Glass tiles, stained glass or smalti, are usually 1/4" and smaller in size. 1/8" and smaller pieces are used for hair and other face details. Depending on the image, either direct or double reversed methods are used. Please, allow 6-14 weeks for completion of the projects. Completion time depends on the size of the project, its complexity and availability of necessary materials and studio time. We ship mosaics throughout the USA and to other countries.
