In order for us to write up an Estimate of Project Cost, please have the following information ready:

project size (inches, feet, or metric) and shape (rectangular, circular, etc.)
where the mosaic will be located (outdoors, indoors, bathroom, wall, floor, etc.)
what materials would you like us to use (stained glass tiles, smalti, stone, etc.)
what type of design would you like? (e-mail samples of pictures, or URLs , if you have any image references)
is there a projected deadline for the mosaic to be completed by?
if possible, e-mail the photograph of space where mosaic will be located.
please, provide us with the shipping address, so we can get an estimated shipping cost.

Important: Mosaics take time to make. Please, plan accordingly. For example, a 3'x4' mosaic will take about 8-12 weeks to complete after the design approval. A 120 sq ft project may take 8-12 months to complete depending on the studio's schedule for other projects.

Following conditions may apply on commissioning work:

Consultation Fee for Commission:
First hour of consultation for commission is FREE. $80 per hour, billed in 20 min increments thereafter. Note: travel time (unless under 20 min.) is included in consultation fee.

Project Cost Estimates:
Furniture mosaics and certain small sized wall pieces (glass and ceramic tiles/plates): free. Other types of mosaics: $200 for projects over $5000. Note: estimate fee will be incorporated into the price of the commission.

Contract Agreement:
No written contract is needed for projects under $5000, however a written confirmation (e-mail, letter) of the commission with the description of the project, materials, and fees is required. Contract is signed by both parties for projects over $5000.

Deposit:
Prior to project’s start a 50% deposit is required for projects under $5000.
A 25% deposit is required for projects over $5000. After design is approved by a client, an additional 25% payment (or the amount that will cover the cost of the materials, whichever is higher) is required for projects over $5000 unless stated otherwise in the agreement. Another option includes monthly payments to the studio.

Payment:
The remaining amount of the agreed sum will be paid by a client promptly after the completion and/or installation of the project. For projects, that will be shipped, payment must be received prior to shipping. Note: shipping and packaging costs are not included in the price of the mosaic and will be billed separately.

Installation:
Project installation will be billed per Man Hour at the determained rate (base is $80). It is possible that the project is installed by the third party, such as a professional masonry worker. It is client's sole responsibility to pay all the applicable costs and fees related to the installation, including the installation time, materials, insurance, etc.

Financial aspects of commission:
Will be discussed during the initial meeting.

Guarantees and Warranties:
The mosaic artwork produced by Mosaic Sphere Studio, LLC is guaranteed against faulty craftsmanship for 1 year from the date of sale. This warranty does not cover damages caused by the client's negligence or negligence of client's patrons, acts of nature, or natural wear of the mosaic products used.
